I’ve always believed that love deserves intention. But life gets full—and the relationship that matters most often takes a back seat. Not because you don’t care, but because you’re tired, busy, or out of ideas.
Your Date Genie started with a simple question: what if planning something meaningful felt easy—like making a wish? What if something could understand your time, your preferences, the little things that make your partner them—and turn it into a night you’d actually remember? Because romance shouldn’t feel like pressure.

I built this for people who love deeply but don’t always know where to start. We’re building this from New Jersey, rooted in the Yorkseed community—not just as an app, but as a way to help you show up better for the person you love.
Our Goal
Our aim is to reimagine what modern relationship support looks like: a seamless blend of elevated concierge service, intuitive technology, and design that understands the quiet details that make love feel meaningful.
In a world that moves faster every day, we believe romance should feel simpler, softer, and more natural. Your Date Genie exists to bring ease and intention back into connection, offering thoughtful guidance, inspired ideas, and a sense of understated luxury in every plan we create.
How We Got Here
Frustrated by the friction of planning meaningful dates, Anjela begins prototyping a web-based date planning tool using Lovable and React — no prior coding background required.
Your Date Genie is officially incorporated in New Jersey. The brand, website, and web-based experience launch publicly, with AI-powered date plans and a growing waitlist community.
Anjela teaches herself SwiftUI from scratch to build the full iOS app — featuring Claude AI date plan generation, Google Places verification, OpenTable and Resy reservation integrations, a polaroid-style Memory Gallery, push notifications, and Partner Planning.
A three-event spring series co-hosted with Creative Twist Events in Metuchen, NJ — including a fragrance blending couples experience, a singles lock & key mixer, and a Mother's Day family expo.
A waitlist growing daily. TestFlight beta underway. A vision expanding beyond NJ and NYC — to make thoughtful, effortless romance accessible to every couple, everywhere.
