If a specific law gives you additional rights based on where you live, we will honor those rights as required.

4.9 Location, Calendar, and Device Permissions
Some features may ask for device permissions.
Location: We may use approximate city, region, or neighborhood to suggest nearby venues or plans. We do not need continuous GPS tracking to provide the Service. If we request precise location in the future, we will do so only with permission and for the feature described.
Calendar: By default the app uses Apple Calendar. If you save a confirmed plan to your calendar, calendar access is used only for that action — we do not upload, copy, or store your full calendar to provide this feature.
Google Calendar (optional): If you connect Google Calendar instead of Apple Calendar, we request access through Google’s secure sign-in (OAuth) flow, and you decide whether to grant it. We use read-only calendar access only to see when your evenings are free, so the Genie can suggest date times that actually work for you, and we use event-creation access only to add a date plan you have confirmed — along with a reminder — to your calendar. This all happens on your device. We do not store your Google Calendar data or your Google OAuth tokens on our servers, and we never sell this information or use it for advertising. You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account under Security → third-party access, or by switching back to Apple Calendar in the app.
Google API Services User Data Policy: Your Date Genie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Photos: If you choose to save, upload, or use photos, we process the photos you select. We do not need access to your full photo library unless you grant that permission.
Notifications: If you allow notifications, we may send reminders, service notices, and account-related messages. You can adjust notification permissions in your device settings.
